STRATEGIC. AUTHENTIC. IMPACTFUL.

Every Story Has a beginning

Read my story below
  • My Beginning

    ALABAMA BORN & RAISED

I grew up as the fourth generation of my family to raise Polled Hereford cattle on a small operation in Beauregard, Alabama.

My life was full of the outdoors, animals, experiential learning, and growing up alongside my older brother and sister.

This is where my spark for agriculture, serving others, and being a voice for the voiceless, all began.

  • Somewhere in the middle

    FINDING PURPOSE IN DISCOMFORT

From an early age, I have always enjoyed the art of communications. As a Clover Bud in 4-H, the joy of public speaking motivated me to find my voice.

When serving as a National Beef Ambassador, my voice was used to connect with empathy and clarity when telling my own story and those of others.

Now, whether presenting to a large audience, writing articles that elevate the voice of others, or connecting with a small group while facilitating a workshop, the art of communication has continued to give me a strong sense of purpose.

I continue to approach every opportunity to communicate a story as a chance to ‘give my best,’ even if it makes me uncomfortable.

  • TODAY

    DREAMING BIG DREAMS

Norman Borlaug said “Dream big dreams. Because only big dreams have the power to move men’s souls.”

As a father, husband, brother, son, friend, co-worker…titles in life aren’t the end goal.

Serving my family, being an intentional leader, and helping others in my sphere of influence accomplish their goals, is what I know will help ‘move men’s souls,’ both in my life and others.

Success isn’t about ‘getting someplace,’ but rather experiencing each of the moments that lead us there.

Impactful Programs

At the heart of communications, lie the people who make stories come to life. The experiences, challenges, hardships, loss, and celebration of wins - all culminating in a raw form of connection with an audience member, reader, or viewer.

Much like the heart of communications my programs are no different.

Ideating, designing, and launching the Trailblazers Advanced Advocacy and Spokesperson Development program on behalf of the Beef Checkoff was an honor. Now, watching it grow under my leadership to a bank of 40+ dynamic, elite, spokespeople, who can respond to issues, be proactive in their outreach, and collaborate to make sure the right stories are being told for the beef community is why the program was started in the first place.

As the Trailblazers “sherpa,” helping serve as their guide and the person who ‘packs their pack’ with the right tools, skills, and information, I am proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish since the program first began in 2021.

BUT, don’t take my word for it - hear straight from the source.

In the room together

Since 2019, I have been a trained workshop facilitator in the art of Appreciative Inquiry and have developed a niche for helping people grow in their abilities to:

  • Become a more confident communicator.

  • Advance their awareness of public speaking.

  • Create awareness for social media best practices.

  • Establish an understanding of working with the media.

  • Understand and practice writing stories that connect with diverse audiences.

  • Acknowledge how to move forward and implement these newfound skills through their work as communicators.

While helping my audiences achieve these elements and more, I have worked with over 10,000 training participants and executed close to 200 workshops.
